Let’s say, for example, you have gone to someone in love, many times over, trying to share with them the benefit of doing things another way and/or bringing to light an area of fault, in order to help build them up and ultimately seek Christ. Well, let’s just say, for example, the response received by the person is just the opposite of what you expected, since in your heart of hearts, have gone to them in love each of those times.

What should you do when you see reoccurring sin in their own life that directly affects you? Bear the burden that is placed on you, knowing all good things are given to you as a child of God, and praise God for the opportunity to demonstrate humility when your flesh is screaming out on the contrary.

James 4:6-10 “But He gives more grace. Therefore it says, God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exult you.” In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
